1993 Mako 17' _{(5.18 m)} 171 Millions

The initial models that “put MAKO on the map” were the center console series consisting of the MAKO 17. The MAKO 17 was an iconic model that defined the brand and remained in production for 40 years—from 1969 to 2009. It is arguably one of the most popular and storied 17-foot boats ever produced.

The million dollar 17 was built for the owner of Mako. While it didn't cost a million dollars to build it had a special meaning to all of the workers at the plant since they knew it was for him. It was also the first production version of the updated 17 angler (this one is hull number three) as we did two prototypes before it. It's a standard Mako in every way except it has every option we could think of for him to fish it. It was in the plant for months as we kept adding things to it and the running joke was that we lost a million dollars building that boat for him due to loss production. 

Complete restoration and put back in original condition, a lot of recent upgrades.
