Jeff is a native Californian from Huntington Harbor where his family started boating a the early age of 6 years old sailing his Sabot and Lido14. As a teenager, Jeff bought himself a P-Cat Catamaran and proceeded to become the first 3 time National Champion. Over the years, Jeff has raced many yacht races including 6 Trans Pacific Yacht Races and countless Mexico races. In 2003, Jeff became the Commodore for Huntington Harbor Yacht Club and was on the PHRF area C Board of Directors. Jeff currently races Catalina 37's and cruises the HH waterways on his Duffy. Jeff's many years of experience in the marine and service industries make him the right broker to help find the special power boat or sailboat you've been looking for.

Josh was born in Newport Beach and moved to San Francisco at the age of seven.

When he was ten years old, his love of sailing began at the San Francisco Yacht Club in Belvedere, CA.

His competitive racing career began in the notoriously challenging Berkeley Circle and along the San Francisco waterfront. He frequently returned to Newport Beach over the years for the Governor’s Cup at the Balboa Yacht Club and participated in other youth championships at the Newport Harbor Yacht Club. Josh began sailing internationally at the age of fifteen as a member of the St. Francis Yacht Club team, participating in the NutraSweet/Diet Pepsi Youth Match Racing World Championships in Auckland, New Zealand, in which they took 2nd place. The team also represented the St. Francis Yacht Club team racing Lasers in Australia. In his 20s, Josh was a team member participating in the 11-meter Sports Channel Citibank Cup qualifying for the Brut by Faberge/Audi pro match racing series, at the time the largest pursed race in yachting. They finished as the top U.S. team, taking down some of the biggest names in match racing. Josh went on to participate in multiple world championship campaigns, in the Etchell and Melges fleets, as trimmer. Josh then began a career in culinary arts and graduated in 1997 from The Culinary Academy in San Francisco. His experience has included work as an executive chef and senior manager in a number of well-known restaurants in Northern and Southern California. Life on the water lured Josh back in 2004 when he attended the California Maritime Academy and became a USCG licensed captain, subsequently working through 2014 as a tugboat captain on multiple dredging and marine construction projects on the San Francisco Bay, the California Delta, Newport Harbor, and the Back Bay. Josh moved back to Newport in 2015 to enjoy and live his best life. He believes that this is the premier place to put his vast yachting experience to best use. He also has a strong mechanical background in gas and diesel systems. Josh is eager to help you find the best fit to fulfill your needs, whether it is practical cruising, racing, or finding the luxury yacht of your dreams. I have proudly held a 100 Ton captain’s license for the past two decades, during which I’ve skillfully navigated vessels ranging from 30 to 120 feet, including sport fishers and pleasure yachts. My maritime journeys have taken me across most of the Atlantic and throughout the entire Pacific. I possess comprehensive knowledge of diesel mechanics, specializing in servicing generators and water makers, and I am adept at managing all electronic systems on various types of boats. My experience extends to prestigious events such as the Fort Lauderdale boat shows, where I’ve showcased my expertise. Additionally, I have a proven track record of successfully hauling boats out at boatyards along both the Pacific and Atlantic coasts, fostering strong relationships within the industry. I take pride in my exceptional interpersonal skills, adaptability, and unwavering motivation. My deep-rooted passion for yachting and its rich history drives me to help individuals find vessels that perfectly align with their lifestyle choices.

Walter has sailed competitively and recreationally since he was 12. Walter has an accomplished boating resume having won numerous races locally, nationally and internationally, where he is considered one of the top sailors in the country. While sailing, Walter also had a successful career in real estate development. Walter writes a weekly boating message, “the Mooring Minute”, he currently is an active member and serves on race councils for both the Balboa Yacht Club BYC and the Lido Isle Yacht Club. Walter hosts and chairs many charity regattas and is always actively seeking to grow the boating community.

Leeann is passionate about branding and marketing with proven industry results. Her success comes from being a top production Realtor combined with running the operations for a Fortune 500 real estate company. Leeann’s passion and success in real estate speaks for itself.

Jason grew up far from the ocean but began boating, skiing, and fishing at a young age in the diverse waters of the Missouri Ozarks. While living in the Kansas City area, he became a lake sailor. His sailing passion eventually led him to move his family aboard a sailing yacht near Amelia Island, Florida in 2019. 

Jason Gerke is currently a licensed yacht and ship broker (TC12768) and a licensed real estate advisor (SL3515959) for Engel & Völkers in Florida. 

Jason is a member of the Oyster Bay Harbour Yacht Club and, by extension, the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs.
